PDX Pet Spa is a nose-to-toes treatment salon for dogs and cats who make the most out of life in the Pacific Northwest — where nature gets into everything, especially the coats of our furry friends who love to romp outdoors and roll in every enticing smell that catches their attention. So when you come back from a proper romp, we make sure they get a thorough, stress-free groom that has them rejuvenated, looking sharp, and most importantly, feeling great!
Oh, hello! I’m Jess!
I often can’t walk down the street without seeing one of my clients galloping towards me, dragging their person behind them, excited to say hi and get some scritches and a treat! My clients are happy to come back to me, because I provide a happy and fear-free (certified!) environment where they are treated with love, empathy, and respect — and when they leave, they feel better than they did walking in!
I specialize in animals who have been rescued from tough lives, have experienced trauma, or are simply just a bit spicy. I also work with several rescues in PDX, and I love to help animals belonging to our unhoused and lower-income community in Portland outside of my work.
While we are still busy beautifying the shop, we are actively taking on new clients and doing what we do best: keeping your pets clean, well-groomed, and happy, so you and your best friends are ready to take on all the adventures that come your way in comfort and style!
Our Services
Basic Bath
Bath and blow dry, light conditioning spritz, and a quick brushout. Simple, affordable, and a great starting point — add individual services à la carte if you’d like!
Full Bath
The full refresh! Premium shampoos and conditioners hand-picked for your pet, plus nail trim & dremel, paw pad shave, full blow dry & brushout, minor matt removal, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, leave-in conditioning spray, and a bandana or bows.
Full Bath + Tidy
Everything in the Full Bath, plus a face trim, sanitary trim, foot trim, and a scissor cut to clean up loose and long hair — keeps your pup looking neat and tidy between full haircuts.
Basic Bath
The works! All of the above plus your pet’s full styled haircut with premium deshedding treatments for matted and super-shedder dogs. Any extra charges for extreme cases are always discussed with you before we begin.
Cat Grooming
Yes, we accept kitties! Cat grooming is more specialized — please call us so we can give you an accurate quote and set up the right appointment for your cat. We love them!
Puppy’s First Groom
For pups 6 months or under. We take at least two hours so your puppy can comfortably become acclimated to grooming in a calm, fear-free way. Includes face, feet, and sanitary trim. Full haircuts are recommended after ~6 months.
